Only a week to go Folks.

Fish anywhere you want to fish, $40 entry for Adults, $15 for Juniors and $10 for Smallfry.

Sign up at Fish City Hamilton, The Raglan Club or Online at www.waikatosportfishing.co.nz by Midnight Thursday, to fish Friday, Saturday and Sunday (November 21st - 23rd)

Weigh fish in and present your catch cards at WSFC Clubrooms by 4:00 pm Sunday November 23rd.

Weigh Fish at Fish City Hamilton, The Raglan Club or any NZSFC Affiliated weigh station (a courtesy-weigh charge may apply for the latter)

$7000 of Shimano prizes and spot prizes for Snapper, and Other sport fish (Albacore, Bass, Bluenose, Hapuku, Kahawai, Trevally or Kingfish)

We are fishing this comp too..had a good time last year .Unfortunately it doesnt work for the kids to enter this time though. .
still hoping west coast weather improves

So ive just been on the WSFC website to sus out the comp.
is it just snapper as the major prize and all the others together ie the heaviest over all species or is it every species separate?just wana make sure?Skunk?

Had a great time taking kids fishing a few years ago (Auckland based ones), 2 or three years running, awesome time. Really good fun!

Have entered, was hoping to go west but doesnt look good, taking the missus camping at waihi so will head out from there, sounds like most are fishing up the auckland side of the firth around waiheke, hopefully i come across some bowentown kings

Waikawau tomorrow, Coro Saturday and Sunday morning for us. Online entries still open until midnight.

Yeah Ramcoed, Prizes for Snapper top three for men and Women, Top 10 for under 11yeas and under, Top 5 for 16 years and under. Closest Average weight for for all, and Heaviest Overall.

Other sport fish, yeah heaviest of that group of fish. Tope three for Men, Women, Juniors and Small fry.

Yes Great tournament once again.
 
Same with us, no biggies, but kids did well on the 2kg + Kahawai, we found lots of Ky schools at Motiti and Oparau Reef on Sunday.
 
Massive thanks to Ben from Fish City, donated back his 1st Mens snapper prize (Nice 9kg Snapper) of a Calcutta rod and Reel to the tournament as a lucky draw for all contestants and luckily enough my 14 year old was drawn. He was stoked. That was a great gesture by Ben and Fish City.
 
Here's the selection of fish we got at Mayor Island, sadly not a kingi amongst them, but a good feed fro the families.
