Better talk to Mr Round Stone about this one . We lost a mahimahi at the boat yesterday arvo . Heaps off good sign out there 20 + degree water

Mike on Breakaway now has a Shortbill Spearfish as well...congrats to that team...

Seems some nice fish were caught yesterday, looking awesome for the Top Ten Tuna comp today...seems there are some issues with Ch 61 however....good luck all those fishing today.

2 St marlin landed , grid number 25 & 27

I marlin dropped
Just had report of another marlin H/Up
We're just buzzing here with fabulous conditions and fine weather.

Mat on 2 buoys got 32kg shortbill spearfish yesterday from tairua. Weighed at bowentown and apparently 700gm short of nz record so must have been on 24 line. I wonder what it would have weighed a few hours earlier.
