Found only in Southern oceans between 20-50 deg South. Regarded as not common. So a very interesting catch.

that is a slender tuna, caught one on jig with Brian`s boat at whangaroa. DONT EAT IT!
I found live worm like parasites when I filleted the fish, chucked the whole thing away
