Need some help sourcing upper and lower exhaust plate gaskets for and american block 1999 225hp Mercury Optimax serial # OG841046, I've googled it an they seem to be an obsolete item? (every other part available except these 2 gaskets??) other option is to get them made, where? and what do I need to supply them? TIA

If you can't make them yourself you can use these guys. I use them for some complex gaskets and they do a great job.

All sorted now, Don was most helpful, and they did have the part. However have now found them locally.

I'm told that they are not really gaskets that you would replace unless doing a major like I am at the moment, just to make sure it's all tickety boo before it hits the water.
