sid fishus wrote: technically I am sure, the best approach is that your stronger and more co ordinated arm should hold the rod, not do the winding. Hence fly rods are this way round. Just many people dont put in the time to get the hang of it of making their weaker arm do the little circles for winding the reel, hence many righties prefer right hand reels, which i believe is nuts if you are interested in casting well. In a casting situation I will always prefer a left hand wind reel, I am a righty. |
