Only a few days to go now, 'til the usual suspects head down to the Cape for a week of fishy action. Pretty amped, gears all checked and packed, a few new toys to play with and the forecast ain't looking too bad.

Blindspot is up there at the moment, and I'll try to catch him before he leaves for some up to date intel.

Mixing it up a bit this year with 6 days on the rocks and as blasphemous as it may be on this thread, a day charter out to the Ranfurly Banks. None of us have been before, and with the conversation I had with the skipper tonight it sounds like it could end up being 'Just one of those days'! 

Crew is primed for a big one!

ranfurley banks is the caviar for the fisherman i fished that place many a time and every time was bliss with good weather and great fishing prepare for the arm burns lol look foward to the report

Cheers guys.
4 of the crew headed up today, but I won't be up there until Sunday. Yeah definitely want to catch up with Ben. We'll be at the Kemps too, so hopefully meet up in the changeover.

Fizzing to finally hit the Ranfurly Cheechy. Been on the bucket list for a long time and from the sounds of things it's going off. And don't worry, the cameras will be rolling.

I'll try to make the report a more brief read than last years epic ramble...
