Have installed one last weekend for GPS purposes as was cheap. Will let you know how it goes this weekend if the weather is nice enough to go out.

What did you pick one up for if you dont mind me asking ? I snapped up an almost new one for 250!

I havnt bought it mate, just comes with a boat package I have been looking at. Probably not my first choice of brands but it pays to be openminded. Cheers

yeah fair enough, Not my choice either... but came with the cards etc. so was a good price. My FF is a Furuno fcv587 with a 1kw tranny!
