DAM Power Champion 430 LDL reel

Although the DAM Power Champion sports a lot of features, the most interesting would have to be the S.P.S. handle system.  A simple push of a button enables the handle length to be instantly adjusted to whatever length is necessary at the time: long for power winching or short for greater speed of retrieve.

In addition, the 430 has: a carbon frame for lightness and corrosion resistance (covered by a twin-coat lacquering); stainless and bronze internal gearing (incorporating four stainless steel ball bearings); a level-wind system; an anodised spool and; a heat-resistant 175° lever brake.

This DAM is able to take 300 yards of 30lb line and has a useful 4.2:1 gear ratio. DAM products are distributed by Composite Sports in Albany.
