John Eichelsheim was pretty busy in 2007 and this publication is yet another in his list for that year. Everyone likes an adventure but there’s nothing like a bit of pre-reading and preparation, particularly if it’s a fishing trip.
This book is another in the Spot X series and takes a tour of many of New Zealand’s better known fishing haunts and gives a brief but useful overview of the fish you (might) catch, accommodation and things to do in the area. It also has an overview on boat ramps in the area which is particularly useful.
