Book - the Complete NZ Softbait Fishing Guide

Like the title says, it's a complete guide.  For anyone interested in softbait fishing, the guide is a worthy read and is well put together by Mike Rendle from Fishing Coast to Coast magazine and Joe Dennehy. The publication covers everything you need to know if you're contemplating this style of fishing, and there's still plenty of tips and interesting observations for the more experienced.

The first part of the book covers equipment and setting up with a number of useful reviews on various rod, reel and bait options. Rigging and knots are well covered too.

The latter part of the book looks at techniques and types of fishing such as drift fishing, wash fishing, as well as specialist areas such as fishing from Kayaks for example.

To finish it all off there's a section on filleting and a few ideas for cooking.

A must for any fishos bookshelf and available at all good tackle stores.
