Line twist usually happens due to trolling with a poor quality swivel (or none at all) on an eggbeater type reel. Simply remove all terminal gear from the line and let the line stream out behind the moving boat for a few minutes until it untwists then reel it in, add a little pressure with your thumb to load correctly.
