Advice & Info: Kayaks fishing - What type of rod?

Doesn't have to be the most expensive fishing rod to catch the fish.

I have had great snapper success fishing from our kayaks with kids $20 and $40 rods.

Also if you happen to flip the kayak near the beach and break a rod , it's not so costly
