Bait - improving pillies

Heres a tip to help increase your chance of getting that elusive 20 pounder.

When stray lining with pillies or similar type of fish, once you have threaded your hooks or hook through the bait and set the hook at the right angle, make small cuts to the gut cavity of the fish so as to slowly release the natural burley held inside, just be careful not to cut or nick your trace material, happy hunting.
