Rigs & traces - change sinkers easily

For a simple running lead slip a small swivel on your mainline so it runs freely up and down the line. Attach your leader/trace using a larger swivel than the free running swivel that is on your main line.

You can now clip on the sinker weight desired to the free eye on the running swivel. Once on the bottom the sinker wil hold but the bait can be drifted as far as you like back from your weight. Sinkers can be easilly changed as the current increases or decreases. Simple but it works especially if there is a strong rip running.
