I've read lots of ideas on having traces made up and wound around various pieces of plastic etc but invariable tangle when undone. The best way is to cut a long strip of newspaper as wide as the dropper loop and lay the trace lengthways on it (hooks can be hooked through paper where they lay). Then roll the whole lot up leaving the swivel at exposed end. Tape swivel to paper. The swivel can then be put onto the loop at end of line threading the whole lot through without unravelling anything until you are ready. This is a quick no tangle method and the rolled up traces can be stored in a plastic bag.
